THACHER FUNERAL HOME
Thacher Funeral Home was built in the early 1880s. The entranceway is adorned with two beautifully hand-carved wooden doors that open into a grand foyer. Crystal chandeliers hang in both the foyer and the family parlor, and the entrance features an impressive hand-carved staircase that stands exquisitely in the background. Vintage paper and leather treatments cover the walls at Thacher Funeral Home, and both the interior doorways and the central office show the beauty of the structure, with its hand-cut and leaded stained-glass windows.
The ambiance of Thacher Funeral Home rests in its historic beauty and modern amenities, which create a homelike setting that is comfortable for our families. At Thacher you will find an arrangement room, visitation room and a chapel that seats 120 guests.

WOOD FUNERAL HOME
Built at the turn of the 20th century, William Wood Funeral Home stands tall in the heart of historic downtown Booneville. The entranceway is graced with a front porch that is both historically beautiful and fully functional, and enjoyed by all. The large front door opens into a foyer that is decorated with a built-in antique hardwood hall tree, a stately grandfather clock and winding wooden staircase. To the left of the foyer is the chapel, which features a stunning handmade fireplace and large bay windows. The historic beauty of the building is evident with its high ceilings and ornate woodwork, but the funeral home is also a comfortable and homelike atmosphere for families to gather.
William Wood Funeral Home is rich in heritage and steeped in tradition, yet fully modern. For services, we offer an arrangement room, a visitation room and a chapel that accommodates 140 guests. A comfortable, private conference room is also available on the second floor for families to make arrangements. We are located approximately one mile from I-70 and just four blocks from the Missouri River.
